Superfood Blueberry Smoothie

My superfood protein smoothie with fresh blueberries is nutrient-rich and perfect for immunity-boosting for any health condition. I use a lot of berries so it’s really delicious and helps keep my strength up. This recipe is for 1 drink but I will typically make enough for 2-3 days and keep it in the blender in the refrigerator.

Ingredients:

2 scoops Collagen protein powder (I use Vital Proteins Collagen Powder) or as directed on container

1/3 cup organic nut milk, cultured nut milk or grass fed milk or nut milk yogurt

2 tsp organic ground flax seed

1 tbsp Omega fatty acids (I like Udo’s 3-6-9 oil blend)

2/3 - 1 cup frozen and/or fresh berries depending on taste

1/2 cup filtered water

2 tsp MCT oil (start with a lower dose and slowly increase the amount if you haven’t been using this regularly. It supports a keto diet but I use it for the increased cognitive functions. It helps fight chemo-induced brain fog!)

1 rounded tsp ground mixture of organic adaptogens (Chinese and western mushrooms and roots.) Mine includes many immune-boosting mushrooms like: reishi, cordyceps, astragalus, ashwaganda, rhodiola.

1/2 tsp powdered kelp

1/2 dropper of organic liquid stevia.

Pptional: 2 squirts trace minerals (I add this because I drink alkaline water/reverse osmosis water, which in purification has been stripped of trace minerals.)

Preparation:

Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender until smooth. Add more water if you prefer it thinner.
